The Lincoln Community Foundation never ceases to amaze me with its dedication to bringing people together and supporting the local community. One of my favorite events they host is their monthly bingo night. It’s always a great time, but the last bingo event was truly something special.

Over 200 people showed up to the event, filling the room with excitement, laughter, and the thrill of shouting “Bingo!” This month’s bingo wasn’t just about having fun—it was for a great cause. All proceeds went to benefit the Lincoln High School Farm, a cornerstone of our community that provides hands-on agricultural education for students. Supporting a program that teaches valuable skills and helps nurture the next generation of farmers made the night feel even more meaningful.

As if the night wasn’t already festive enough, we had a surprise visit from none other than Santa Claus himself! He strolled into the bingo hall, spreading holiday cheer and posing for photos with attendees. Kids and adults alike couldn’t help but smile as Santa worked his magic, making the evening feel like a true community celebration.

What I love most about these bingo nights is the way they bring people of all ages together. It’s not just about playing a game—it’s about connecting with friends, neighbors, and even strangers, all while supporting important causes in our town. Whether it’s for schools, local nonprofits, or other community projects, the Lincoln Community Foundation always finds a way to make an impact.

If you haven’t been to one of their bingo nights yet, you’re missing out on an incredible experience. It’s the perfect mix of fun, community spirit, and giving back. Plus, you never know what surprises might be in store—whether it’s a packed house of 200+ attendees or a visit from Santa himself, there’s always something magical about these events. I can’t wait to see what the next one has in store!
